SHS PTSO Educational Scholarship Application
The Sharon High School Parent Teacher Student Organization (SHS PTSO) is pleased to offer up to four educational scholarships of amounts up to $750. The scholarship is offered to seniors graduating from Sharon High School in Spring 2024.

Applicants for the SHS PTSO scholarship must be students in good standing who are graduating from SHS in June and planning to attend a two or four-year college. Applicants must successfully complete the PTSO Educational Scholarship application.

All applications must be received no later than Monday, April 1, 2024. No applications will be accepted after this date. Submit your application by emailing it to SharonSHSPTSOScholarship@gmail.com. Applications that are incomplete by the deadline
will not be processed.

Award recipients will be notified at the annual Senior Class Night. The names of the recipients and highlights from their applications may also be posted on the SHS PTSO website.

Christa McAuliffe Memorial Scholarship
​
Each year the Sharon High School PTSO, Sharon Middle School PTO, Heights Elementary PTO, East Elementary PTO, and Cottage Street elementary PTO offer one (1) $250 educational scholarship to a senior graduating from Sharon High School who has demonstrated a commitment to learning and who plans to pursue a career in education.
Details and the application form for this scholarship can be found at the SHS Scholarships page. Interested students must turn in the application and personal statement to the Counseling Office no later than March 31, 2024. No applications will be accepted after this date.

Janice Bornstein Memorial Scholarship
​
Janice Bornstein was an elementary school teacher for 37 years. She was a dedicated educator with a true love for learning. Upon retirement, she continued to tutor and volunteer her time in an effort to help newly established immigrants learn to speak, read, and write English. This 10-year limited educational scholarship awards $1,000 each year to one (1) senior graduating from Sharon High Schools with a demonstrated commitment to learning who plans to embark on a career in education.
